Birth photography is not just about capturing the memories ~ it's about preserving the essence of love, strength, and resilience of YOUR birth story. At a time when reproductive justice, healthcare autonomy, and birth equity are more important than ever, birth photography serves as an act of reclaiming your power ~ a way of saying, “Do you see me now?" while documenting your birthing experience.
As a mama & certified labor doula, my goal as your photographer is to honor the miracle of your birth by documenting it, empowering you, and creating memories for you and your family to treasure for generations to come. With the utmost respect for the intimate and transformative nature of birth, I am here to ease the process of hiring a birth photographer and provide support every step of the way.

Process
Providing support every step of the way
I. LET'S PLAN
Birth can feel unpredictable, but your experience with me doesn’t have to be! After the initial consultation, we will send you our welcome packet & pricing information. When you decide to move forward, we’ll officially reserve your due date window. After, we'll set up a virtual or in-person planning session to get to know each other better. This is a chance for us to talk about your birth plan and walk through your questionnaire, which covers things like your birth space, the nudity scale, any lighting preferences, and what matters most to you. I will be on-call from 38 weeks until your baby arrives, ready to document your birth story when the moment comes.
II. On-call ARRIVAL
As your due date approaches, I’ll be available anytime. Feel free to text me at first signs of labor, however, I ask that you CALL ME (rather than text) as soon as you’re in active labor (around 6cm dilated). This ensures I arrive in time. For non-intervention births, we’ll set up a clear communication plan that works for you & your birth team (e.g., no cervical checks, etc.). For precipitous births, contact me as early as possible so I can head your way. No matter the circumstances, I do everything in my power to be there to capture your birth story.
III. YOUR BIRTH!
Once I arrive, I quietly and respectfully begin documenting your story. Every birth unfolds differently, and my approach honors the energy of your space.
The moments I strive to capture:

- The love & support of everyone around you
- The deep connection between you and the process
- The moment you & your loved ones meet your baby
- The first cries, skin-to-skin, and afterglow
Everything we discuss in your planning session — your preferences, any specific moments you want or don’t want captured - guides how I document your birth.
IV. THE AFTERGLOW
I stay through the golden hour, capturing those first intimate moments - your baby’s first latch, your partner’s expression, tiny fingers wrapped around yours. Once your family is settled and soaking in the moment, I’ll quietly step out, leaving you to rest and bond. You can expect to receive newborn highlights within 72 hours of your birth! Your complete gallery, in color and black & white, will be delivered within 3 weeks of your birth.
